Biographical Sketch of Dr. Ricardo Bartlett, Sr.

 

Dr. Ricardo Bartlett, Sr. was born in Detroit, Michigan.  He attended and graduated from the Detroit Public School System.  He was blessed to matriculate at various schools of higher learning and completed his post graduate degree from one of America’s prestigious and premier institutions of academic excellence. 

He has served on numerous boards and committees, both religious and secular.  A radio personality in excess of 25 years and present Community Activist and Advocate of Human Rights.  He has held executive positions in the corporate community prior to devoting himself to the Pastorate full time.

Dr. Bartlett is the organizing Pastor of Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and has served for 33 years.  He also pastors Greater New Zion Baptist Church in Los Angeles, CA where he has done so for the last nine years.

He has traveled extensively including Asia, Europe (Eastern and Western) and Africa (West and South).

He is married to Rhoda Elaine Bartlett and the proud parent of two (2) sons, Ricardo, II (Monique), Reuben and three grandchildren, Ricardo III, Jordan and Madison.
